Journal Entry for Anxiety

Anxiety can be crippling, especially in times of doubt or confusion. Here is a journaling exercise to help you work through temporary anxiety.

When you feel anxiety creeping in, feel it... don't try to push it away. Take some time to think about it, feel it, then write it all down. Literally make a list of all your worries in your journal -- don't feel ashamed or embarrassed. Put it all on paper. If you number your list, it will help with the next part.

Put your worries down for a moment, and go about your daily life. Then, when you have had some time away... on a fresh page write a possible solution to each worry. If you can't come up with a solution, write something positive you can learn from each worry/situation. Putting the slightest positive thought toward each worry will help you overcome your anxiety. Sending love.
